Lizzi Aronhalt's recent series of paintings "Somewhere," created during the covid-19 pandemic, explores the physical locations she has inhabited, whether for a few moments, many months or only in her imagination. The works explore the playfulness of memory and the rhythm of the urban cityscape as the artist balances the consistent and familiar with the inevitable disconnect of distance and the passing of time.
